What you can view and update
Your profile displays the personal information linked to your Fynbos account. Some details can be customised, while others are fixed after identity verification.
Customisable: Profile photo, profile colour
View only: First name, surname, birthday, mobile number, verification status
Your name and birthday come from your identity verification and cannot be changed directly in the app. If you need to correct this information, contact support.
Accessing your profile
You can view your profile from the Settings menu on any device.
Tap the Settings icon in the navigation menu
Tap Profile from the settings list
Your profile page shows all your personal details along with your verification status.
Changing your profile photo
Your profile photo appears throughout the app and helps identify your account, especially if you manage multiple profiles.
Navigate to Settings
Tap your current profile photo or initials at the top of the screen
Select an image from your device (PNG or JPEG format)
Your new photo uploads automatically and appears across the app immediately.
Tip: Choose a clear, well-lit photo that shows your face. This makes it easier to identify your profile when switching between accounts.

Tap the coloured circle next to Profile colour
Select your preferred colour from the options
Available colours include rose, orange, yellow, green, sky, blue, indigo, and purple. Your selection saves automatically.

Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
Approved | Verification complete. Full access to all features. |
In review | Your documents are being reviewed. This usually takes minutes. |
Documents required | Additional documents needed. Check your notifications for next steps. |
Not started | Verification not yet begun. Complete this to access all features. |
Rejected | Verification unsuccessful. Contact support for assistance. |
If your status is anything other than "Approved", you may have limited access to certain features until verification is complete.
