Our Referral Program

Fynbos users can refer friends using their unique referral link and earn rewards for every friend that becomes an investor.

Simply go to your Settings page, and if you qualify to get a referral link you'll find it there.

How to use your referral link

To refer a friend, simply send them the link and if they follow that link and sign up then you will be recorded as their referrer.

When a friend you have referred invests R1000 or more, you will both receive a referral reward of R200 in the form of a deposit into your Fynbos account which will be invested according to your automation rules.

How to sign up using a referral link

If you follow your friend's referral link and then sign up for Fynbos we will record your friend as your referrer and as soon as you invest your first R1000, you will both receive a referral reward of R200 deposited into your Fynbos accounts.

The reward will only be awarded after we receive your funds. If you invest through a debit order, the reward will only be awarded 2 weeks after we receive your funds. This is to protect us against debit order fraud.

If you don’t invest at least R1000 within 60 days of signing up, the referral reward for both you and the friend who referred you will expire.

Terms and Conditions

1. This offer is subject to a fair use policy. If we suspect abuse, we reserve the right to cancel or reverse any rewards even after they have been claimed and invested. This is entirely at our own discretion.
2. Referral rewards will be deposited into qualifying Fynbos accounts immediately after they have been awarded.
3. Referral rewards cannot be withdrawn from investment accounts for 12 months from the date the reward is awarded.
4. Referral reward values can change at any time.
5. We reserve the right to adjust these terms or cancel the referral program entirely at any time.
6. All decisions regarding the awarding and payment of rewards is made entirely at the discretion of Fynbos.
7. As a referrer, you are not mandated to act as a representative or agent of Fynbos, or authorised to incur any obligations or liabilities on behalf of Fynbos, or to give any warranties, representations or undertakings of any nature on behalf of Fynbos.
8. A person who is not an authorised Financial Services Provider (FSP) or is not a mandated representative of an FSP, is not permitted to give advice on financial products or provide any financial intermediary services to any other person.

9. In referring potential clients to visit the Fynbos website, you as referrer may not:

   1. Facilitate an individual purchasing a savings or investment product by pre-populating any of their data.
   2. Market the product, including commenting on the product’s superiority, beyond sharing of your own positive experiences and factual statements about Fynbos and the product in question.
   3. Create the impression that you are representing Fynbos.
10. Fynbos will not be liable for any illegal or unlawful actions or misrepresentations made by the referrer to the referee in respect of any Fynbos product.
