Life Current has professional indemnity insurance in place.
Remuneration
Fynbos earns its revenue through platform subscription fees paid directly by our users. We do not earn referral fees or commissions and do not sell any data we collect.
Conflicts of interest
Fynbos and Life Current have adopted and implemented a conflict of interest management policy that complies with the provisions of the FAIS Act.
Neither Fynbos nor Life Current receive any compensation or commission from the product suppliers whose products are available through the Fynbos platform and no product suppliers hold an ownership interest in either Fynbos or Life Current.

Protection of personal information (POPI)
All information we receive about you will remain confidential unless you provide consent, or unless we are required by any law, to share this information.

Promotion of access to information act (PAIA)
Fynbos maintains a PAIA manual prepared in terms of section 51 of the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000. This can be downloaded from here.
Treating customers fairly
Both Fynbos and Life Current promote the fair treatment of clients by integrating the guidelines and principles of the FAIS TCF in all business dealings with our clients. In the event that you are dissatisfied with any aspect of the service you receive from Fynbos, you should address your complaint in writing to [email protected]. A copy of our complaints resolution policy is available on request.
Financial intelligence centre act (FICA)
In terms of FICA, Life Current is an accountable institution and Fynbos provides assistance to Life Current in meeting its obligations. We are required to identify all prospective clients and investors, verify the information provided and keep records of verification documents. We are also obliged to report to the authorities any suspicious and unusual transactions that might facilitate money laundering.
We reserve the right to deny any person access to the platform or services if we are not satisfied that we have fulfilled our obligations under FICA.
