Brokerage fees
Every time you buy or sell an ETF, there are unavoidable statutory costs. Exchange fees, settlement charges, STRATE fees.
What we charge: Zero markup. We pass through the exact costs.
How we reduce these fees: We batch all customer trades each day into single transactions, sharing the settlement fee across everyone. Your cost: around 0.08% per transaction. Among the lowest in South Africa.
Fund management fees
All funds (regardless of platform) charge their own annual fees (typically 0.10% - 0.40%). These are set by the fund managers, not Fynbos, and are deducted from the fund itself. You won't see them as line items on your statement.
